Moving On

Well, It's bee a while since I've written anything in here. Lots going on, you know. Let's see, the last post was in December which means, the new year has come and gone. I rang that in with chilling with John and a very early flight out of Portland to bring me to Music City USA aka Nashville, TN. There I was greeted warmly by some of my favorite and greatly missed people in my life, Shanon, Scott, and Liz. We hung out in Chatt at the Logan's for a few days before Liz had to get back to Illinois, to get up to Iowa for her wedding. We joined her and a flock of others a few days later after a good 12 hour drive to the frozen tundras of Cedar Rapids, IA. HOLY CRAP! Can you say cold! It was -20 degrees the day they got hitched.
It was a good time filled with a lot of good and bad, but what else do you expect when family gets together. John flew into town the day before the wedding just in time for the rehearsal dinner after he, Fram, Dad, and Aunt Lisa had some major air plane issues. Nichole DID finally make it the day before the wedding too... after being stuck in Detroit for over 24 hours! After the wedding the Logan's, the William's, John and I drove back to Chatt where we were able to stay for another 2 days before having to catch a plane back to Maine and reality. All said and done it was a very good and very expensive trip. But worth it.
Since then John and I have been working hard at saving up money to move to Chattanooga, TN. We are finally almost to the end of this next endeavor, which is good cuz I am tired of all this work! We plan to ship out on June 7th. As that day gets closer I am finding new appreciation for my life here in Maine, but it still does not outweigh the potential of starting anew with a man I love in a nice city so near to most of my best friends (yes, I do mean Shanon and Liz) ;-). It will feel so nice to leave ex's behind, and all that junk, have my own place with all my wonderful things unpacked... It's the leaving people behind thing I'm going to have trouble with.
Well, with all that said I am going to sleep. Maybe I will keep up a blog during the rest of this move... or not. Who knows.

I will bow down toward Your holy temple
and will praise Your name
for Your love and Your faithfulness,
for You have exalted above all things
Your name and Your word.

In Christ,
~Jenna J.
