1 Down... 30 To Go...

God continues to blow my mind. Yesterday was such an incredible day, so perfect, and so evidently a gift from Him.
For those who don't know, one of my dad's only wishes was that his ashes be scattered in all the MLB fields. Since baseball was one of the things dad and I truly connected in and bonded over I have kind of taken charge of this request and yesterday was field #1 of 30 (technically, 31 since the Braves will be in Marietta next year). I had some of my closest friends with me, Jacob, Mel and Amber and went into the day with much apprehension, heaviness, and excitement.
We were so incredibly blessed by a friend who gave us tickets for KILLER seats and were able to sit so, so, sooooo much closer than we had planned.
I was so blessed by the presence of my friends who joined me. I feared I would be doing this alone, at times I thought it would be better that way, but I couldn't have been more wrong. This season of grief has been so oddly full of joy, largely because of these wonderful people who were with me for this and I'll forever be grateful for the time they set aside and spent supporting and loving me on this day.
1 down, 30 to go.

Praise God from Who all blessings flow!
